Some sweet recent finds

Good morning, my darlings. It's been several months since I've shared a few of my own finds. I must admit, my treasure hunting is done with Vintage Farm in mind, but from time to time, I find things I can't seem to part with. Here are a few of those things.... I recently went to an estate sale where the lady collected kitchen items. She had dozens ... [Continue Reading]

Happy Easter Weekend

IMG_5366

Hello my dears. I just wanted to stop in and share a few pictures I snapped this morning. I picked up a fresh bouquet of tulips last night and we're getting excited for the weekend. I'll be making my grandma's scalloped potato recipe and some carrot cake, too. I'm also looking forward to pulling out all my vintage linens. Four years ago, I bought ... [Continue Reading]

Our Family Room

Today, I'm excited to share with you my favorite room in our house. Our family room! This was the room that gave me the vision when we first walked through the house! I immediately fell in love with the wood beams and the arched fireplace. Those two things kept me going when things were so overwhelming I wanted to cry (and sometimes did!). There ... ‘Before & After’ of a New Chair and CSW Designs

I picked up this fabulous vintage sitting chair at an antique shop in Logan, Utah at the end of December. My in-laws moved there a few months ago and whenever we visit, we always take the truck because the visit isn't complete without loading up at the fun stores along Main Street. I fell in love with the wood frame of this chair and knew ... [Continue Reading]

Our Kitchen

IMG_3244r

Let's chat about our kitchen today. This is, by far, the room I lost the most sleep over. I knew exactly what I wanted, but was lovingly told a few million times that this would not be my dream kitchen. When we build in a few years, maybe then will I get exactly what I want....(marble countertops, farmhouse sink, cupboard-front appliances...etc.) ... Patterned Curtain Panels

{Just a reminder: We'll be at the WILDHARE FLEA MARKET on MARCH 22nd AND 23rd! Bannock County Fairgrounds in Pocatello!} When I was in Boise a few weekends ago, I found this killer fabric at Home Fabrics. It's this huge warehouse full of discount designed fabrics and rugs. This was only $8.99 a yard, if you can believe that, and ... [Continue Reading]

WildHare Flea Market Reminder! Two weeks to go!

I've had a lot of people ask when the WildHare Flea Market is. Soooooo......here we go. It will be held at the Bannock County Fairgrounds and there ... [Continue Reading]

Our Living Room

I have to admit, I was feeling a bit discouraged for the first two months of living in our new house. Exhausted from moving and from the holiday rush, I was feeling in such a decorative rut. I had spent the last few months buying things I thought would work perfectly in the house and had a folder full of inspiration pins on Pinterest, and in ... [Continue Reading]

We’re still here!

My darlings, it feels like it's been forever! How are you all? I've missed you so! At long last, we're happy to say we're finally in our new home. We've been here for a few weeks and between trying to finish up the remodel and unpacking, it's about done us in. We're happy to say, though, we feel we're at the tail-end of this big ... Shabby Chic Entry Table: sold.

My beloved entryway table! This vintage dresser was the very first piece of vintage furniture Mr. Keller and I ever bought! It's very sentimental to me and I'm looking forward to finding it a good new home. It's the perfect size for an entrway table or a bedside table. It measures 19 inches deep, 38 inches wide and 28 inches tall. It has been ... [Continue Reading]

Flea market finds and upcoming items

Hello there! I just thought I'd pop in to share a couple of my favorite flea market finds from a few weekends ago. We had a great time selling at the market on Saturday and I loaded up on some awesome treasures for our new house, too, including a fabulous late 1800s church house window! I'm fairly sure I'm in love. I saw this bottle at the flea ... [Continue Reading]

Autumn Decor

Autumn is my favorite season to decorate for and in late August, I found myself wanting to pull out some of my fall goodies. Before September 1st ever came, I had put away my summery sailboats and vintage fans and replaced them with gourds, berries and pears. Here are a few pictures from around the house. Xo!   ... Favorite Recent Finds

It's been a few months since I've shared some of my own recent finds, so I thought I'd share a few today. I found this cute scalloped bowl at Home Goods in California. $7.99! Another California Home Goods find: I've think you guys have seen the vintage kitchen scale I bought earlier this summer, but I'm absolutely in love with these ... [Continue Reading]

Hello there!

IMG_4419

I just wanted to stop by and say hello! Mr. Keller and I visited the lovely California coast last week (without the kids!) and it's taken me all week to get back into the swing of things! In other news, I wanted to share that we finally closed on a short-sale home this week and are excited to announce that we'll be moving ... [Continue Reading]

Our home is for sale

My dears, Mr. Keller and I are planning on putting our home on the market this weekend and we wanted to spread the word to our Vintage Farm friends. It's a one-car garage, ranch style home with approximatley 2400 square feet. It was built in the 1970s (1978, I believe) and has essentially been entirely updated. It has vinyl windows, vinyl ... Summer Mantel Display

I love coastal decor, but oftentimes I feel a little silly going 'all-out' since we live nowhere near the ocean. This summer, I decided to just go for it. I have rope, boats, starfish, shells, netting and wicker. And guess what. I love it! Here's a rundown of my decor sources for the summer vignette: Lamp, a $10 TJ Maxx find Jar in wicker ... A little welcome and some recent finds!

IMG_9289

Why hello, my dears! We wanted to extend an official welcome to our brand new website! We spent quite a bit of time preparing and designing it, and while I can't take credit for all the hard work putting together everything on the back-end, we are so excited to have a bright and shiny new place to display our furniture and decor. I'm sure things ... [Continue Reading]

Spring Mantel

Good morning, my dears! Here's a few pictures of the spring mantle vignette I came up with for my March At Home submission. It's always so refreshing to put away the heavier decor of winter and replace it with all things light and airy. Enjoy the photos, and don't forget to scroll to the end of the post for a complete list of decor ... [Continue Reading]

Happy March!

It's finally March, my dears, and to be honest, I've been buying myself fresh bouquets of tulips every week since late January. This last part of winter drags on so much for me, and the freshness and color of blossom brings such a needed change in my home. I've also pulled out a few of my favorite teal items and my speckled eggs and vintage wire ... [Continue Reading]

Project four: wool juju hat

Hey guys! I'm a little slow with getting this last project posted. Probably because it didn't turn out as well as I would have liked and I think it's because I couldn't seem to find the right yarn. And so it goes....I ended up choosing this gorgeous, deep fuchsia color; 100% wool yarn from Mustard Seed Dreams on Main Street in Old Town. They have a ... [Continue Reading]

Project three: Spend $10

This week's project was pretty simple. I gave myself a budget of $10.00 to fill up the awkward portion of wall space next to my tv console buffet in my living room. I've tried just about every shape of every kind of decoration, but have never liked anything I came up with. Earlier this week, I scored these vintage mirrors for a combined total of ... Project one: painting jute rugs

I had this wild idea of painting the jute rugs I have in my kitchen. Jute rugs are very inexpensive (this small oval one was $4.99 at Ross) and easy to experiment with. I also figured that since they don't really have a front or back side, I could always flip the rug over if the project turned out to be disastrous. Things you'll need:a rug ... [Continue Reading]

January’s for fluffing.

Happy new year, you guys! We hope you had a lovely time these last few weeks, celebrating the season with your loved ones. Driving back home from Boise, Mr. Keller and I devised a plan to help me stay free and clear of the winter blues I seem so prone to throughout the month of January! (Do you get that way too?)I'll be sharing a DIY home ... [Continue Reading]
