This was our first year buying a Grand Fir. I tend to love the classier look of the Douglas more. But we decided to save a little and settle on this little darling. And I have to tell you, this tree smells better than any we've ever had in the past. Home Depot bagged it up and let me take as many clippings for boughs as I wanted. We will definitely be returning there next year!
Living Room Mantle
(and yes, as tacky as it may be, that is a tag still on that mirror...I can't decide...yay or nay?....suggestions?)
Dining Room
Just a little decor in the kitchen
And our bedroom dresser

Your home looks beautiful, Hollie! I love all of the red and white. You've done a lovely job. I do like the mirror on your mantle. I think the silver metallic is a nice touch in your home and it's a great size for the mantle. You have a sweet little red checked star ornament hanging on your galvanized bucket. Where did you find that or did you make it? I'm looking for a few of those for my tree.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I especially love that robin-egg-blue pitcher in your hutch — such nice contrast.
ReplyDeletei love your home! and decor too! i like the mirror, it looks good! if you are still deciding, you could always go for an old window pane!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Hollie! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks wonderful! Those pictures look like they're right out of the pages of Country Living! I especially like the picture of the bucket, on the stool, with the blanket and the star...simple, yet beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your family is feeling better. : )

ReplyDeleteLove your decorations! I like the mix of country and chic :) Love your tree and how its in a bucket, great idea for a real tree! question, did you by chance make that silhouette that you have framed? I am wanting to do one of my son but i'm not sure how to start :) It is so sweet!!!
